SPRINGWOOD RIDING CLUB

Hi Everyone
The Open Show schedules are out now, all usual classes with a special Fancy Dress Class (rosettes for every entry in this class), section championships and overall Supreme/Reserve Champs with £50 Overall Supreme and £25 Overall Reserve Champion. Trophies and medals in ALL classes with rosettes to 6th place. Janjo Photography will be at the Open Show.
If you need any more information please ring either myself or Sharon - club secretary.

Friday 22 May - Practice Evening - all rings available £5 member £6.50 non members, Caterers on site. Please note no first aid at practice evenings.

I have had several people ask who the photographer was at our show on Sunday 26th, the photographer was Jack Burnige from Janjo Photography - www.janjophotography.com. or telephone 07832271615. He has taken some fab photos and offers a really good service - do log on to his site and take a look. When you log on you need to follow the links to find Springwood Show - you need the first file which comes up for this particular show. Janjo will also be coming to our Open Show on 7 June - the Open schedules will hopefully be out from the middle of next week!!

I am really pleased that you are enjoying Springwood Riding Club. From our May Club shows we will be holding practice evenings, on the Friday before a club show, from 6pm - all rings open £5 members £6.50 non members - weather permitting (please ring me if any doubt). The first practice evening will be on Friday 8 May. The caterers will also be at the practice evenings so you can get tea as well! Look forward to seeing you soon! Sarah

Hi my husband is very keen phoographer and took some beautiful pictures during the first show and is happy for you to use some of them if you wish for your web page,as we were there showing our youngster and will be there again today 26th ap.

True Horsemanship - An Evening with Mickey Gavin - Tuesday 28 April, at Smalley Working Mens Club 7pm - this should be a really entertaining evening, Mickey has worked with all sorts of horses and has lots of useful tips to pass on. Tickets will be on sale Sunday 26th April at the showground £3 each - the proceeds being split between Springwood Riding Club and Scropton Riding for Disabled. This event is open to everyone members and non members alike!

Hi Rosie, sorry the photos don't appear to be on yet. We didn't have an official photographer at the first club show but my husband did take lots of photos which should be going on to the website asap! We will have a photographer at the club show on 26 April.
